Yes, as Autocar India writes, the Tesla Model 3's ground clearance turned out to be insufficient to drive over speed bumps, which are abundant on Indian roads. During field tests, it was found that the 'three' scraped its bottom on about 160 out of 200 artificial bumps.

The standard ground clearance of the Tesla Model 3 is 140 mm – this is indeed not much, so experts have already recommended that the manufacturer raise the car by 25 mm. However, this is not so easy to do: the design features of the sedan do not allow increasing the clearance by simple adjustment, so Tesla, apparently, will have to make changes to the suspension.

Local publications suggest that due to this 'miscalculation', the launch of the Model 3 in India will be delayed. Instead, the first Tesla electric vehicle in this market will most likely be the Model Y crossover – its ground clearance is 175 mm.
