In August 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was joined by almost 3,900 hybrid passenger cars, HEV and PHEV. This is 38% more than in the same month last year. The share of new cars was 42% versus 56% in August 2025. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
New hybrid cars in Ukraine: top 3 models of August
In the new hybrid segment, all three top positions were taken by Toyota models. The most popular was the Toyota RAV4 crossover, chosen by 430 buyers in August.
Second place went to the compact Toyota Yaris Cross with a result of 153 cars. The top three was rounded out by the Toyota Camry sedan - 133 cars.

Used hybrids from abroad: Ford Fusion and Escape lead
Among imported used hybrid cars, first place in August went to the Ford Fusion US. Ukrainians registered 138 such cars.
Second place went to the Ford Escape - 129 imported cars. Third place went to the Kia Niro with a figure of 121 cars.
