Cars up to $15,000 with a large range: five models
According to Autoportal experts, on the highway these cars are capable of covering approximately 1050-1500 km on one tank.
1. Volkswagen Passat B8 2.0 TDI 2014-2019 - up to 1500 km
The diesel Volkswagen Passat B8 has a 66-liter tank and consumes about 4.2-4.5 l/100 km on the highway. The estimated range reaches 1450-1500 km. On the secondary market, such cars are valued at $13,000-15,000.
2. Renault Megane IV 1.5 dCi 2016-2019 - up to 1350 km
The Renault Megane IV and the Grandtour wagon with the 1.5 dCi diesel consume about 3.5-3.8 l/100 km. The fuel tank holds 47 l, and the range stated in the source is 1300-1350 km. Price - $11,000-14,000.
3. Peugeot 508 2.0 BlueHDi 2015-2019 - up to 1400 km
The first-generation Peugeot 508 from 2015-2017 has a 72-liter tank, while the second generation holds 55 l. With consumption of 4.5-5.0 l/100 km, the estimated range can reach about 1400 km.

5. Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid 2017-2019 - up to 1100 km
The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid with a 1.6 GDI petrol engine has a 45 l tank. With consumption of about 4.0-4.3 l/100 km, the car can travel approximately 1050-1100 km. On the secondary market, such cars cost $13,000-15,000.
