ElectroLogan is based on the first-generation Dacia Logan sedan. It has been in production for 5 years already. In 2016, the car went on sale in India under the name Mahindra eVerito. And since then, it has remained in the local brand's catalog.

The electric car owes its appearance to the cooperation between Mahindra and the Renault concern. Until 2010, both manufacturers jointly produced the Dacia Logan in India, but later their cooperation came to an end, yet the budget sedan remained on the assembly line. However, it was then renamed Mahindra Verito. And already in 2011, the plug-in version eVerito was presented. This is how the story of the electric Logan began.

Interestingly, the hero of this article is one of the cheapest electric cars in the world. Its price is about 14,000 dollars (converted from rupees). True, its characteristics are not impressive: the electric motor develops only 42 hp and 91 Nm, the lithium-ion battery capacity is 22.1 kWh. The sedan accelerates to 60 km/h in 11.2 seconds (not to 100 km/h!), the maximum speed is 86 km/h, and the range on a single charge is 140 km. The Mahindra eVerito weighs 1256 kg, which is 200 kg more than its petrol/diesel counterpart.
