Yes, as the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, said, at the moment the phantom patrol cars have not even been handed over to the patrol police yet. They are currently undergoing registration, certification, and other procedures. This is being handled by the Infrastructure Projects Agency ("Ukrinfraproekt"), which actually purchased the cars.

Biloshytskyi emphasized that phantom patrols will not take to the roads without public notice. "When they are handed over to us, we will announce it," the law enforcement officer stressed, refusing to give specific dates.

It is worth noting that for now, four phantom patrols will operate in Ukraine – these are ordinary-looking gray Skoda Kodiaq crossovers, but equipped with special signals and equipment for recording violations in both the same and opposite directions. Law enforcement officers promise that by the end of the year, the number of phantom patrols in Ukraine will be about 150 units, and by 2024 – 550 units.

Let us recall that phantom patrols were presented in Ukraine at the end of last year.
