Like its predecessor, the Mercedes-Benz Citan is built on the basis of the Renault Kangoo, but now it is based on the new generation model. The car differs from its sibling in the radiator grille, headlights, and bumpers.

The base configuration of the Mercedes Citan has been expanded and now includes 7 airbags, automatic braking, lane keeping, and blind spot monitoring systems.
