Law enforcement officers remind drivers: according to traffic rules, from October 1 to May 1, all mechanical vehicles outside populated areas must have daytime running lights turned on. If the car is not equipped with such lights, low beam headlights should be turned on.
With the onset of autumn and winter, daylight hours shorten, and due to rain, fog, and snowfall, visibility on roads often deteriorates. Therefore, it is extremely important to mark your vehicle with running lights or low beam. This makes the vehicle more visible to pedestrians and other road users, and also helps reduce the likelihood of traffic accidents.
