Law enforcement officers urge to follow traffic rules, yield to each other, and not to park cars haphazardly, so as not to complicate passage and road cleaning.

"In snowy conditions, it is necessary to use low beam headlights (or fog lights), observe speed limits and parking rules (so as not to interfere with snow removal equipment). Be careful when driving on bridges and overpasses, avoid risky maneuvers that, in adverse weather conditions, could lead to emergency situations. If you need to stop, reduce speed gradually. And when stopping, be sure to turn on hazard warning lights," the statement says.

Note, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on January 7-8, difficult weather conditions are expected in Ukraine: in Kirovohrad, Poltava, Kharkiv regions, and on January 8 in Sumy region, heavy snow and wet snow, blizzards, snowdrifts; in southern, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions, heavy rain and wet snow; in some places, wet snow sticking, ice; in western, northern, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy regions, moderate snow, in some places blizzards.
