The vast majority of the discovered cars are rear-wheel-drive subcompacts Chevrolet Chevette, which were produced and sold in Brazil from 1973 to 1994. In this case, these are examples from the early 90s, and all of them are painted yellow. In addition, the photo shows several Volkswagen Gol and Chevy Corsa units.

The cars have the same color for a reason – they all belonged to a local taxi fleet owner, Pascoal da Ressurreição Afonso Rego, who was popularly known as the Taxi King. The Chevrolets worked in his business for several years, after which they wanted to sell them, but due to legal intricacies this turned out to be impossible, so the cars were put into storage in a warehouse, where they stood for a couple of decades.

When the Taxi King died (this happened 8 years ago), the yellow cabs along with the shed came into the possession of 14 heirs. Now they intend to rent out the warehouse itself, and put the Chevys up for sale. The prices for the cars are bargain – from 240 to 370 dollars, the first batch of ten units has already gone to a new owner. The latter, after the find, published information about the Chevrolets on social networks, which led to all cars already being reserved – it is expected that the hangar will be empty in the coming days.
