The ship, 246 meters long, designed for 2,200 military personnel and up to 90 aircraft, lay on the seabed for decades. However, recently researchers from NOAA, using a deep-sea vehicle, discovered a car standing vertically in its hold. Such a find is hard to imagine.

The car closely resembles a Ford Super Deluxe Woody from the early 40s — typical service transport for officer staff. However, this specimen is a real mystery: the license plate is only partially preserved, but on it they managed to read the inscription Judicial Service. Was it a service car or someone's private vehicle? Perhaps it belonged to an admiral?

To date, no other SUV used by staff officers has been found. This car is unique. Was it classified? Simply forgotten? Or deliberately hidden? There are no answers yet.
