The Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV has had its roof cut off and roll bars installed to protect occupants in a rollover. Additionally, plastic trim has been added to the bumpers and sides.

While the standard Mini EV is a four-seater, the convertible retains only two seats. The interior features improved upholstery materials, and the dashboard now houses two displays – a virtual instrument cluster and a touchscreen for multimedia.
Obviously, the convertible will be somewhat more expensive than the standard model, which costs the equivalent of $4,100-$6,600. However, it will still be the most affordable electric sports car in the world.

The base Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV is equipped with a 17.4-horsepower electric motor and a 13.8 kWh battery. It can reach 100 km/h and travel about 200 km on a single charge. The convertible's specifications are not yet known, but it is possible it will be slightly more powerful.
By the way, the Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV has already begun production in Europe under the name FreZe Nikrob. However, the EU version is noticeably more expensive.
