AutoPortal decided to briefly summarize the findings of German colleagues — rather for general information, since this new model is not officially sold here yet. However, if desired, it can be imported through "gray" dealers.
Skoda Enyaq iV 80
The Enyak has as many as five modifications, and journalists got the version with the index "80" for the test. This electric crossover is equipped with one engine producing 204 hp (rear-wheel drive) and an 82 kWh battery, which is enough for 510 km of range. Acceleration to 100 km/h is 8.6 seconds, top speed is 160 km/h. The price of the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 in Germany starts from 38,500 euros, but there is one nuance: taking into account benefits and subsidies, an ordinary German can get the car for 24,800 euros.
Design and dimensions
The Enyaq simultaneously looks like a typical Skoda and at the same time stands out noticeably against the background of other models of the brand. In terms of the outlines of the "grille" and LED optics, it echoes the current Octavia A8. At the same time, the Germans admit: the Enyak is certainly more attractive than its platform sibling — Volkswagen ID.4.
The main highlight of the car is that very "grille" with unusual backlighting of 130 LEDs. But at the rear, the Enyak stands out with a practical solution: the tailgate glass is installed at a relatively steep angle, making the trunk more convenient to use.

The length of the electric Skoda is 4.65 m, width is 1.88 m, so it sits between the petrol crossovers Karoq and Kodiaq. A long wheelbase (almost 2.8 m) and very short overhangs are a typical solution for modern electric vehicles. The new model looks massive, although in fact it is shorter than the same Octavia (4.69 m).
"In any case, the Enyaq is understandable, simple and modern," note AutoBild.
Interior
Inside, Czech designers also found a fine line — everything looks very elegant. In front of the driver is only a small instrument cluster (5.3 inches) showing only the essentials so as not to distract from the road. Other data is displayed on the windshield via a head-up display (optional). At the same time, control of many functions goes through the infotainment system screen — it is quite large, 13 inches, but the MIB3 multimedia itself from the VW portfolio, to put it mildly, does not shine: the display reacts with a delay, menu navigation is slightly confusing, graphics are not the freshest. "So everything is like in the VW Golf," emphasize the journalists. Among the advantages is that the system is constantly updated over the air.

Experts also noted the huge amount of space in the Enyak's cabin. Especially in the second row — there is plenty of legroom and headroom, so even tall passengers will sit comfortably.
Driving
The speed capabilities of the Skoda Enyaq iV 80 are sufficient to move calmly on the autobahn (recall, this is 8.6 seconds to 100 km/h and 160 km/h top speed). At the same time, the car demonstrates smooth and quite sharp acceleration typical of electric cars. Among the features — the model is surprisingly quiet, even for an electric vehicle. Thanks to 20-inch wheels and additional adaptive chassis DCC (in a package for 900 euros), the car rides smoothly and harmoniously. The crossover weighs a lot — 2.1 tons, and this is well felt during acceleration and braking. The recuperation system works simply and excellently (adjustable in three modes using paddle shifters).
As for the range, AutoBild said they still have to check it — already during a long-term test.
