The tests were conducted over three days at the German track Lausitzring. Having spent a total of 35 hours on the track, three electric crossovers managed to cover 1018, 1024, and 1026 km without recharging.

All test models were equipped with a standard set of batteries with a capacity of 64 kWh and regular Nexen tires with low rolling resistance. To maximize energy savings, the testers did not use air conditioners or media systems. The average speed of the runs was from 29 to 31 km/h.

The test pilots were journalists from the German magazine Auto Bild and employees of the Hyundai Motor Deutschland division. On the third day of testing, each crossover managed to travel over 20 km with a residual battery charge of 3%. Even at zero charge, the electric cars managed to cover a few hundred more meters before stopping.
