The special version was developed by the Q by Aston Martin division. As part of the 007 Edition series, 100 units of the Vantage model and 25 DBS Superleggera sports cars will be produced.

When creating the Vantage 007 Edition, engineers were inspired by the classic Aston Martin V8, which debuted in the fifteenth James Bond film "The Living Daylights" (1987). The coupe sports a special Cumberland Grey body color and a mesh grille with chrome trim. Yellow accents on the lower part of the body mimic the paint scheme of the retractable skids and jet engine nozzle on the car from the film.
The interior features black leather, "black chrome" inserts, and commemorative plaques. On the back of the headrests are images of f-holes, the resonance openings of a cello, which is another reference to the 1987 film. On the sun visors, the FM frequency 96.60 is embroidered: in "The Living Daylights", this wave was used by the police. Under the armrest is a schematic image of the control panel for spy gadgets.

The DBS Superleggera 007 Edition features Ceramic Grey paint, carbon fiber trim, glossy black 21-inch wheels, and series badges. The interior is finished in black with red accents.
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera 007 Edition will cost 279,025 pounds sterling, while the Vantage 007 Edition will cost 161,000 pounds sterling.
