At the moment, there are only three hydrogen cars (Toyota Mirai) in Ukraine, two of which are certified and registered. But there are no filling stations for them yet. That is, at present in our country, as, indeed, in most other states, fuel cell vehicles are a rarity. The same applies to the refueling infrastructure for them. Nevertheless, the world is still debating the prospects of this kind of vehicle.
By the way, the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council has become a pioneer in developing the process of certification and registration of hydrogen cars. In early September, the association reported that if earlier it took 1.5 months to register a hydrogen car, now it takes only 3 days.

Alexander Repkin noted that previously there was a "vicious circle." There were no hydrogen filling stations because there were no hydrogen cars, and vice versa. Now such cars are available and, it is expected, their number will increase – due to Toyota Mirai imported from the USA.
It should be noted that there are currently only three hydrogen cars freely available worldwide: the Toyota Mirai liftback (already of two generations), as well as the Mercedes-Benz GLC F-CELL and Hyundai Nexo crossovers (until recently, the Honda FCX Clarity liftback was also on this list, but its production was stopped a few months ago), and soon the BMW X5 Hydrogen will be added. Structurally, hydrogen cars are the same electric cars, only the electricity for their movement comes not from a traction battery, but is generated during the reaction of hydrogen with oxygen in fuel cells, after which it is transmitted to a small battery, which, in turn, powers the electric motor.
