In Ukraine, the selection of participants for the She Drives project, aimed at training female drivers for the transport industry, continues. Applications will be accepted until August 31, 2026. This is reported by «Ukrautoprom».

Free training for female drivers: available categories and cities

Classes will be held at partner driving schools in various regions. Participants can choose one of four training directions:
  • bus driver, category D: Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi;
  • truck driver, category C: Vinnytsia, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, and Khmelnytskyi;
  • truck driver with trailer, category CE: Bila Tserkva, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Kharkiv;
  • trolleybus driver, category T: Cherkasy.

She Drives project: who can apply for training

Preference during selection will be given to candidates residing in the cities or regions where the program is implemented. Willingness to undergo training and work in the new profession will also be considered.Among other conditions are driving experience, complete general secondary education, and compliance with the requirements of the chosen driving category. Applications for participation in She Drives can be submitted until August 31, 2026.
