John's "iron horse" is a "three" convertible, a 325i version. As the owner told the YouTube channel THE DRIVE, several years ago he replaced the stock engine with the famous GM V8 LS series engine. Even then the BMW was insanely fast, but at some point the American realized he wanted an even more "reactive" car.

In the end, he removed the gasoline V8 and instead installed an electric motor from Tesla Model S P85. Converting a fuel car to electric was not an easy task, but Wolf managed it.
Two battery packs from the Chevrolet Bolt hybrid served as the battery, with them the BMW travels about 160 km on a single charge. The choice fell on the GM power cells due to a more attractive price – they cost the enthusiast 4,500 dollars, while for Tesla "batteries" he would have had to pay 16 thousand.
John also made changes to the suspension, in particular, changed the springs and shock absorbers, while slightly reducing the ground clearance. But the car's drive is still rear-wheel drive. Combined with the huge torque, which is available immediately at start, the BMW 3-Series now easily goes into a controlled drift.
