Based on a 1968 Charger, engineers created an experimental coupe equipped with a 1000-horsepower Hellephant powerplant. The model premiered at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.

The engine's name references the legendary Mopar 426 Hemi, which was nicknamed "Elephant" for its size and performance. The basis was the 6.2-liter Hellcat engine, with its displacement increased to seven liters.

The construction used a one-piece aluminum cylinder block, an updated supercharger, as well as unique injectors, flywheel, oil pan, cooling system pump, and other parts that are permitted exclusively for vehicles built before 1976.

The engine produces 1000 hp and 1288 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed manual transmission from the Challenger Hellcat supercar. The coupe also received widened fiberglass wheel arches, 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, and six-piston Brembo brake calipers.
