In 2015, the debut of the new generation "Raptor" took place. The previous 6.2-liter V8 with 416 horsepower was replaced by a three-and-a-half-liter V6 engine from the EcoBoost family, whose power was 457 horsepower. At the Hennessey tuning studio, they decided that fans of the pickup truck who do not want to put up with the absence of a naturally aspirated "eight" should be given such an engine back. How exactly this car sounds can be appreciated in the video published by Hennessey.

The specialists of the tuning studio equipped the car with a five-liter V8 borrowed from the "Mustang" and supplemented it with a drive supercharger with a volume of 2.9 liters. The power unit develops 769 horsepower, and it is paired with the standard ten-speed automatic transmission.
From a standstill to 96 kilometers per hour, such a "charged" pickup truck accelerates in 4.1 seconds. It covers a quarter mile, which corresponds to 402 meters, in 12.2 seconds.
The price of such a car will be 147,950 dollars. This is almost three times more than the cost of a regular production Ford F-150 Raptor.
