The Japanese brand Toyota retained its leadership in the market, despite its figures being 8% lower than a year ago. In October, the country's fleet was replenished with 897 new cars of this brand.
The second position in the number of new car registrations was held by Renault – 804 units. Compared to October 2017, sales of passenger cars of the French brand in Ukraine increased by 21%.
The top three was closed by Nissan: the Japanese brand sold 606 cars, which is 1.8 times more than in the same period last year.
The fourth place in the ranking went to Skoda – 539 new cars, which is 1.5% more than the previous result.
The top five is completed by KIA, whose October figure grew by 41%. This brand was chosen by 522 buyers.
The top ten best-selling passenger cars in October also included:
Volkswagen – 454 units (–43%); Hyundai – 419 units (+3%); Ford – 310 units (–1%); Mazda – 262 units (+7%); Mercedes-Benz – 246 units (+6%).
The most popular car of the month was the KIA Sportage: in October, 411 Ukrainians purchased it.
