According to research data, about 25% of the planet's inhabitants spend most of their time in a sitting position. Because of this, leg muscles become weaker, back pain appears, and the risk of injury from sudden movements or falls increases. One way to combat this problem is chairs that simulate walking and reduce the negative impact on the body during long trips.

JLR engineers came up with the idea of installing special electric drives in seat cushions that alternately change the position of the left and right parts. This makes the thigh muscles work, and the brain perceives this state as a leisurely walk.

Earlier, Jaguar Land Rover already announced plans to create its own system based on artificial intelligence that can read the driver's emotional state. By analyzing information from various sensors, the company's cars will independently adjust the operation of multimedia, climate control, seat heating, and lighting to increase comfort while driving.
