In general, rust on a car is a nightmare for any responsible owner. However, there is a caste of motorists who crave rusty parts on their brand-new cars. Moreover, they are willing to pay extra for it. It is precisely these Defender owners that Heritage Customs' offer is aimed at.
The upgrade package includes rusty inserts on the hood and similar side air intake grilles (on the front fenders). The "overlays" are made as follows: first, the original parts are taken, then they are painted, after which they are subjected to artificial aging, i.e., accelerated corrosion. Then comes the final stage - when the metal reaches the required level of oxidation, i.e., rust, it is coated with a protective varnish (it should last at least 20 years). Finally, the last step is installing the finished overlays on a new Defender.
In addition to the rust tuning, the above amount includes exclusive wheels, as well as interior customization with exclusive leather and carbon fiber inserts.
It is worth noting that in Ukraine, Land Rover Defender 90 (three-door) costs from 1.8 million UAH, and Land Rover Defender 110 (5-door version) – from 2 million. Cars are offered with a 2.0-liter petrol engine, as well as diesel engines of 2.0 and 3.0 liters. The gearbox is only automatic.
