From standstill to 100 km/h, the coupe and roadster accelerate in 4.5 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 293 kilometers per hour. The Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 can be distinguished by 20-inch black wheels (235/35 ZR 20 at the front and 265/35 ZR 20 at the rear), black decorative elements in the interior and exterior (air intake in the front bumper and darkened headlights), a reduced ground clearance by 20 millimeters, perforated brake discs, and red calipers.

Both new models feature PASM suspension with electronically controlled dampers, an adaptive cylinder management system that alternately deactivates injection in one of the two cylinder banks under light load, and a sports exhaust system with controlled flaps, which is included in the standard equipment.

The Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system with a separately selectable PSM Sport mode and a torque distribution system with a mechanical rear differential lock are also included in the list of standard equipment.

For an additional charge, a sports suspension with a 10-millimeter lowering and ceramic composite brakes are available.
