Lan is a project of the Severodonetsk automobile repair base. As the owners of Lan told the Autoportal correspondent, at one time a master worked at this plant who inspired the management to produce their own cars. As a result, a platform was developed on which 11 cars were subsequently assembled.

All models had different names and differed in details, but they had one thing in common – the chassis and a fiberglass body that was unique at that time. They were registered as self-made vehicles.

As can be seen, Lan uses components from serial Soviet cars – for example, the front and rear windows here are from Moskvich-412/AZLK-2140, the side rear windows are from ZAZ-968. Under the hood of the coupe is a 1.5 engine borrowed from the Zhiguli.

According to the owners, only three of the 11 cars have survived – in any case, there is no information about other examples.

It was this example that was bought by the current owners several years ago. Now the car “lives” in the Kyiv region, before that it was located near Luhansk.

In addition to Lan, another equally interesting Ukrainian car debuted at Old Car Land - one of the first produced ZAZ-965 (number 185). It, by the way, has a very unusual engine starting system.
