Last year, the increase in demand was provoked by forecasts of possible new import restrictions, but this year, the usual spring revival in the market seems unlikely to happen.
Perhaps this is even for the better, because, judging by everything, a significant number of buyers are refraining from purchasing cars, hoping for the quick arrival of new models from Europe, Korea, and Japan. However, the promised brands are in no hurry to return, and high interest rates on car loans and substantial discounts on last year's models from dealers, especially on cars of Russian production, do not look attractive enough.
It is difficult to predict how noticeable this new void on the roads will be, because if demand continues to decline, the Russian car market may not only update its anti-records but also significantly affect the entire industry. Moreover, the longer this situation lasts, the more often you can hear from acquaintances: "Maybe it's worth waiting until summer, in case something worth attention appears?"
