"Tesla has announced a recall of some Cybertruck electric pickup trucks produced in 2024–2025. The reason is that an external decorative stainless steel element may detach from the body and fall off", the organization's statement said.
Due to this defect, which could cause a dangerous situation on the road, 46,096 vehicles are subject to the recall. Tesla service centers are to replace the relevant components.
All repair work will be carried out free of charge for owners. Owners of the electric pickup trucks will receive notification letters on May 19 this year. However, as is known, Ukrainian Cybertruck owners will not be affected by this program, since all such vehicles were imported into the country unofficially, via the so-called "gray" route.
