The hybrid Land Cruiser 300 is almost completely identical to the Lexus LX 700h in terms of technical content. The powertrain is a gasoline three-liter V6 with two turbochargers and a displacement of 3.4 liters, which is combined with a ten-speed automatic transmission, an integrated electric motor, and a hybrid battery. Together, this system produces 457 horsepower and 790 Nm of torque, making this version the most powerful among all production Land Cruiser models ever made.

Externally, the hybrid can be distinguished from a regular SUV by several details: HEV badges, gray trim around the decorative exhaust tips, and an updated lower part of the front bumper. Also, black gloss is now used in the fog light area and around the license plate.

Despite the additional electrification, the vehicle's off-road capabilities remain at the same level — the wading depth is up to 700 mm. However, due to the installation of the traction battery, the curb weight of the vehicle has increased by more than 100 kilograms, and the floor of the luggage compartment has become slightly higher.

Data on acceleration and fuel consumption have not yet been disclosed. It is only known that the hybrid system has a warranty of 8 years or 160,000 kilometers of mileage. If the electrical part fails, the car will be able to continue moving using only the gasoline engine.
