On June 20, a ceremonial handover of the first 50 "three-hundreds" to customers took place in the UAE, but interestingly, three cars went not to "civilian" use, but to the police of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These LC 300s received white-green, white-blue, and yellow-blue "paint jobs" (depending on the unit to which a particular SUV is assigned) and special signals.

Thus, the UAE police became the world's first law enforcement agency to use the new LC 300 in its fleet.

Recall that the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 409 hp (there is also a 3.3-liter diesel with 315 hp in the lineup). There are no more "eights" in the range of the legendary body-on-frame SUV, but the car hasn't become slower because of that. In the two videos posted below, you can see how the "three-hundred" reaches 100 km/h and even overtakes the Nissan Patrol Nismo with a 5.6-liter V8 producing as much as 434 hp (right after the start, the Toyota lagged slightly behind the Nissan, but then caught up and pulled ahead).

However, it's not just about the engines – with the change of generations, the Land Cruiser has lost two hundred kilograms. You can learn more about the car's characteristics here.
By the way, in Ukraine, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is also about to go on sale: literally last weekend, a car carrier with new "three-hundreds" was spotted in Kyiv.
