To be more precise, the Lynk&Co 09 is built on the SPA platform and is a close relative of the Volvo XC90. Although the Chinese crossover is larger – 5042 mm in length, 1977 mm in width and 1780 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2984 mm.

The design is in the signature Lynk&Co style – with high-mounted LED headlights (the optics, by the way, are matrix). The door handles are flush-mounted – the XC90 donor, by the way, does not have this.

Versions of the Lynk&Co 09 with 6 and 7 seats are offered. The interior trim uses Nappa leather and wood. The Chinese crossover received a virtual instrument cluster, a head-up display and a large 12.8-inch touchscreen, and the buttons on the center panel are touch-sensitive.
The Lynk&Co 09 equipment is very rich – power-adjustable seats and power tailgate, navigation with augmented reality, automatic parking and even a second-level autopilot.

The base crossover received a 2.0-liter 252-horsepower turbo engine with a mild hybrid system. There is also a super-powerful 431-horsepower plug-in hybrid Lynk&Co 09.
Sales of the Lynk&Co 09 will start in the fourth quarter of this year at a price of about 325 thousand yuan ($50 thousand). The brand plans to enter the European market in 2022.
