Let us remind you that the moose test consists of performing a maneuver to avoid an obstacle that suddenly appears on the road. It was invented in Sweden, where moose and deer often jump out onto highways.
An excellent result in the moose test is a speed of 77 km/h. The electric car Volkswagen ID.4 managed to show only 73 km/h. For reference: the best result among electric cars was shown by Tesla Model 3 – 83 km/h. Porsche Taycan passed the test at 78 km/h, and the budget electric crossover Dacia Spring – at 77 km/h.
For the test, they took the rear-wheel drive 204-horsepower version of the Volkswagen ID.4. The crossover was fitted with 21-inch tires, and the testers had questions about the grip of these tires.
