The design of the Audi Q4 e-tron looks familiar, but there are fewer edges than on other Audis. In place of the radiator grille there is a plastic plug, and the fenders are slightly flared. The Sportback version, naturally, features a more sloping roof.

Unlike the older Audi e-tron and e-tron GT, the new Audi electric vehicles are built on the modular MEB platform, which is also used by models of the Volkswagen ID line. In terms of dimensions, the Audi Q4 e-tron fits between the Q3 and Q5 crossovers – 4588 mm in length and 1865 mm in width with a wheelbase of 2770 mm.

Inside, there is an original four-spoke steering wheel, a virtual instrument panel, and a large 11.6-inch touchscreen. There is also a head-up display with augmented reality. The trunk volume is 520-1490 liters in the standard crossover and 535-1460 liters in the Sportback.

The new Audi Q4 e-tron and e-tron Sportback will be offered from launch in three modifications:
- Q4 35 E-tron – one motor, 170 hp, rear-wheel drive, 9 s to 100 km/h, battery 52 kWh, range 341-349 km (WLTP cycle);
- Q4 40 E-tron – one motor, 204 hp, rear-wheel drive, 8.5 s to 100 km/h, battery 82 kWh, range 520 km;
- Q4 45 E-tron – two motors, 300 hp, all-wheel drive, 6.2 s to 100 km/h, battery 82 kWh, range 488-497 km;

The price of the Audi Q4 e-tron starts from 41,900 euros, making them the most affordable electric crossovers of the German brand. The main competitor for the newcomers will be the Tesla Model Y.
