Before us is already the 11th generation of the legendary Civic. And, as previously stated by Honda, it will raise the level of design, performance, safety, and other technologies in the compact car market one step higher.
In terms of appearance, Honda decided to soften the styling: in the new generation, the car has become less pretentious. There are no photos of the Civic Sedan 2022 interior yet, but it is known that the sedan features a digital instrument cluster and a 9.0-inch touchscreen for multimedia.
The new Civic Sedan reaches 4674 mm in length, 1802 mm in width, and 1415 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2735 mm. According to rumors, the car will retain the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine and the 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder in its lineup.
In addition to the sedan, the new Civic lineup, as before, will include a hatchback and a hot version of the Civic Type R, but the Civic Coupe will disappear. Also, the car will no longer have an all-wheel-drive option.
The Honda Civic Sedan 2022 will arrive at dealers in the summer. A few months later, the hatch will join it, and the Civic Type R will appear only in 2022.
