Compared to the version shown in Geneva in spring, the current concept features a different front-end design, a full-fledged interior, and LED headlights.
The car is built on the Ibiza platform, but its length is 3830 millimeters, which is 200 millimeters less than the base model. At the same time, the IBe is noticeably wider and lower: the body height is 1230 millimeters, and the width is 1770 millimeters. The cabin is laid out in a 2+2 configuration.
Under the hood is an electric motor that delivers 102 horsepower during acceleration, and in economy mode its power drops to 68 horsepower.
Lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 18 kilowatt-hours are placed under the trunk floor, and the energy reserve is enough for 130 kilometers of travel. Acceleration to 50 km/h takes 3.6 seconds, to 100 km/h — 9.7 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 160 km/h.
The prototype is equipped with independent suspension at the front and rear, and the car weighs 1100 kilograms.
Earlier, Seat announced its intention to produce a production version of the electric car based on the IBe, but the start dates for production have not yet been announced.
