The new Cupra Born is a close "relative" of the Volkswagen ID.3: both models are based on the common MEB platform and visually overlap in many ways. The main external differences are the original front-end design and a full-width LED light strip across the body. Even the base trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, while the top version gets 20-inch ones.

Inside, the accents are set with copper inserts. The instrument panel in the Cupra Born is a compact virtual display, and a large 12-inch touchscreen sits in the center. Additionally, the car features sporty bucket-shaped seats.

The model will be available in three power variants: 150, 204, and 231 hp. The top modification reaches 50 km/h in 2.6 seconds, and acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.6 seconds. Three battery options are also offered — 45, 58, and 78 kWh, providing ranges of 340, 420, and 540 km, respectively. Fast charging to 80% takes 35 minutes.
