The Rimac Nevera model was presented to the public not so long ago — the premiere took place in the first days of June. Even then it was obvious that we were dealing with far from an ordinary car. For example, the predecessor of the new model, the Concept_One hypercar, had 1020 horsepower, while the Nevera offers all 1914 horsepower. The torque figure reaches 2360 Nm. The stated characteristics allow the electric car to accelerate to 100 km/h in 1.97 seconds and reach a top speed of 412 km/h.

As for the record run (video attached below), the Nevera became the first car in history to cover the quarter-mile distance faster than nine seconds — the result was 8.58 seconds, and at the finish line the Rimac's speed reached 269.58 km/h. Previously, the best in this exercise was the Californian electric liftback Tesla Model S Plaid with three motors and 1000 horsepower — it took 9.24 seconds.
Recall that the Rimac Nevera runs exclusively on electricity. The power plant is powered by a battery with a capacity of 120 kWh, which is enough for at least 550 kilometers of travel on the WLTP cycle. The manufacturer plans to produce 150 units, each of which is valued at 2 million euros.

By the way, Rimac is a very solid company with big plans. Just look at the recent deal with the VAG concern, as a result of which the Croatian firm got the brand… Bugatti.
