The updated Evoque, as expected, earned the maximum five stars. Protection for the driver and adult passengers scored 94%, for minors — 87%, for pedestrians — 72%, and the functioning of electronic assistants was rated at 73%. The crossover passed all tests almost without criticism, including a simulation of a side impact against a pole. The only thing experts noted was that in a rear-end collision, there is a risk of neck injury for a passenger in the second row.

Specialists praised the high level of safety for child passengers. For pedestrians, the main threat comes from the body's side pillars. Additionally, experts gave good ratings to electronic safety systems and numerous driver assistants. These include parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and an emergency braking system at high speeds.

The Citroen C5 Aircross also received the highest score — five stars. The safety rating for the driver and adult passengers was 89%, for children — 86%, for pedestrians and cyclists — 67%, and for electronic assistants — 82%.

According to the crash test results, in a full frontal collision, the front passenger may suffer serious head injuries. In the event of a side impact, there is a high probability of chest injuries for the driver. For pedestrians, again, the most dangerous zones are the car's side pillars.
