The design of the restyled Transporter has not undergone drastic changes. The updated van received a front panel with a different radiator grille, new headlights, and different bumpers.
Inside, new seats, a different instrument panel, a 230-volt socket, and a modernized media center with a touchscreen appeared. The model was also equipped with an electromechanical power steering, adaptive cruise control, an automatic emergency braking system, and traffic sign recognition, as well as a rear assist function.
The engine lineup includes three 2.0-liter diesels. The power of the units ranges from 90 to 200 hp. Top versions are equipped with 4Motion all-wheel drive. A fully electric version of the van is also available, with a power of 113 hp. Without recharging, such a Transporter can travel up to 400 km.
