The car presented in Geneva will replace the legendary Veyron model, production of which was discontinued in early 2016.

The Chiron received a 1500-horsepower W16 engine with four turbochargers, which develops 1600 Nm of torque and can accelerate the hypercar to a maximum of 420 km/h.

From 0 to 100 km/h, the Bugatti Chiron accelerates in 2.5 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.5 seconds, and from a standstill to 300 km/h in 13.6 seconds.

The hypercar's engine works in conjunction with a 7-speed robotic gearbox, which, according to the manufacturer, has the largest and most durable clutch pair (among road cars).

The drive is all-wheel drive, with the ability to lock the front and rear differentials.

The model's production run is limited to 500 units. However, as Bugatti claims, a third has already been practically sold out through preliminary orders. And this despite the fact that the starting price of the Bugatti Chiron is 2.4 million euros in Europe or 2.6 million dollars in the USA. The first examples will begin assembly in the autumn of this year.
