Tonight the Geneva Motor Show started, during which the Car of the Year in Europe was determined
On the eve of the opening of the international motor show, 58 journalists from 25 European countries finally determined the winner of the competition. According to the voting results, the car of the year in Europe 2016 was named Opel Astra.
The closest competitors of the new Astra were Volvo XC90 and Mazda MX-5, which took second and third places, respectively.
