The new Audi is built on the modular MQB platform.

The Q2 model is almost 20 centimeters shorter than the Audi Q3, but despite its modest dimensions, it has an impressive ground clearance (200 mm) and a fairly spacious trunk – 405 liters (1050 with the rear seats folded).

By default, the Audi Q2 will be equipped with a 116-horsepower 1.0-liter gasoline engine. The base turbodiesel with a volume of 1.6 liters will have the same power. The top engines are a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo-four and a turbodiesel with the same power of 190 horsepower. Transmissions – six-speed manual or S tronic robot with two clutches. Drive – front or all-wheel drive.

For the small crossover, a wide range of options is provided – almost the same as for the flagship Q7. In particular, the customer can equip the car with an advanced multimedia system, adaptive cruise control, and a whole army of assistance systems that will be responsible for automatic braking, lane keeping, and parking without driver assistance. Sales are scheduled to start in the second half of this year.
