"Today we announce that Canada has signed a contract for eight Roshel armored vehicles, and we will provide them to our Ukrainian friends as soon as possible", - the statement reads.
This refers to the wheeled armored vehicle Roshel Senator APC, which is based on the Ford Super Duty pickup truck. The armored body can accommodate 12 passengers. The vehicle can withstand fire from Kalashnikov assault rifles and sniper rifles. It is noted that these armored vehicles have an air filtration and purification system. Thanks to this system, as well as the sealed cabin, the vehicle can be used in areas of radiological, chemical, and biological contamination.

The vehicle's interior is equipped with special shock-absorbing seats, a surround-view camera system with night vision function, and an armored observation turret on the roof. The Roshel Senator APC is powered by a 6.7-liter turbo diesel engine producing 330 hp, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and an all-wheel drive system.
Last week, Canada transferred M777 howitzers, ammunition, and Carl Gustaf weapons to Ukrainian forces. The minister emphasized that Canada will continue to provide "multifaceted assistance to Ukraine."
