The Bundestag adopted a resolution on comprehensive support for Ukraine in the war against Russian aggression, while the possibility of sending heavy weapons from Germany is not excluded.

586 parliamentarians voted for the document, 100 voted against, and seven abstained. The initiative was supported by both the ruling coalition and the opposition bloc CDU/CSU.

According to Tagesspiegel, the parliament called on the federal government to "continue and, where possible, accelerate the supply of necessary equipment to Ukraine, as well as increase it through heavy weapons and complex systems".
