Schumacher first got behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car in August 1991 at the Belgian Grand Prix. Already in qualifying, the young talent performed excellently and immediately took 7th place. However, in the race, on the very first lap, the clutch broke in the Jordan and the German was forced to retire. Nevertheless, the driver was noticed, and almost immediately after the Belgian Grand Prix, he signed a contract with another team – Benetton.

Specifically on this Jordan B191, besides Michael Schumacher, Alex Zanardi and Andrea de Cesaris also competed. At the end of the 1991 season, the car was sold to a private collector. He kept it in working condition and from time to time displayed it at various auto shows like the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Jordan B191 is equipped with a 3.5-liter Ford Cosworth V8 engine with 650 hp. The car can reach 320 km/h.
