"The entire active membership of the Kyiv Automobile and Motorcycle Club worked on the preparation. I am happy that our entire team consisted of Ukrainians. Technical support was provided by the French, because preparing a fully Ukrainian support team would have cost twice as much", — said Serhiy Malik.
The Ukrainian team was represented in the Dakar Classic and covered the route in a Renault Kerax D-50 4×4 sports truck, with an engine displacement of 12.8 liters and a power of about 700 hp. Our compatriots finished (at the Dakar this is already a victory!) and took 13th and 77th places in different categories.
