The thing is, the station complex in Wuhan, over which a road overpass was being built, could not be closed even for a short period. That is why there was no way to construct a long span of the overpass directly above the station.

Engineers from China applied a non-standard solution: the span was assembled parallel to the rails, and a rotation mechanism was pre-installed in the bridge support. When the structure was finally ready, it was carefully rotated 106 degrees, embedding the missing fragment into the nearly completed overpass.

This method was used by Chinese builders for the first time. Against this background, the efforts of our specialists, who have been building the tunnel near Poshtova Square, the bridge crossing on Voskresenska Street, the Darnytskyi railway station, and other "large-scale" projects for many years, look, to say the least, unconvincing.
