Obviously, it's all about the price. According to the ad posted on autoscout24.com, they are asking 17,000 euros for the ZAZ. And this is despite the fact that the owner has already significantly reduced the price. So, in the fall of 2017, he tried to sell the same 'Zhuzhik' through the mobilde.de platform for a hefty 60,000 euros. Proof of this is in the screenshots below.

The Zaporozhets was produced in 1987. It was delivered to Poland in 1995, and was registered locally at that time. However, all this time the car was not used – it was only carefully stored in a garage. As a result, the ZAZ has indeed survived to this day in factory condition. The body paint has retained its shine, and the interior upholstery has not faded or cracked. In addition, the Zaporozhets still has its original tires. The car's color is beige; the engine is a MeMZ-968BE with 50 hp (the most powerful for this model).

Whether they will manage to sell the ZAZ for such a substantial amount is hard to say. On the one hand, the example is unique and clearly of interest to collectors, but on the other hand, the price is frankly high.

It should be noted that the ZAZ-968 was produced from 1971 to 1994. The restyled version with the 'M' suffix in the name was produced from 1979 until the end of the model's life cycle.

By the way, earlier AvtoPortal wrote that in Ukraine a VAZ-2102 with a mileage of just over 14,000 km was put up for sale. The owner valued the car at $25,000.
