The Alpina B12 5.7 is built on the basis of the BMW 7-Series in the E38 body. In total, Alpina produced 202 such sedans, but only 59 of them were long-wheelbase modifications. The B12 5.7 was in production from 1995 to 1999. This particular example is based on the long-wheelbase version of the 'Seven', with a year of manufacture of 1998. It is known that the car was initially purchased by a resident in Japan, then in 2004 it was bought by a Ukrainian and delivered to his country (specifically, to the Chernivtsi region). Subsequently, the current owner emigrated to Canada and took the Alpina along, where he is now selling it. The condition of the sedan is perfect, with a mileage of 85,600 km.

According to auctioneers' estimates, the thoroughbred 'Bavarian' will fetch at least $50-60 thousand. The auction is scheduled to end on August 4.

From the regular 'Seven', the Alpina B12 5.7 LWB differed in a number of design and technical refinements. The most important thing is under the hood – a 5.7-liter M73 engine, V12 with 387 hp and a torque of 560 Nm. In stock form, the displacement of this unit was 5.4 liters, with an output of 326 hp. The engine was paired with a 5-speed ZF automatic transmission, supplemented by the Switchtronic system – with its help, gears can be shifted using special buttons on the steering wheel. From 0 to 100 km/h, the Alpina B12 5.7 accelerated in 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 280 km/h.
