The car in the photo is not a standard ZAZ-1102 Tavria hatchback, but a ZAZ-110550 "Pick-Up" pickup truck, which, however, has an unusual history. Such a Tavria was produced from 1994 to 1995, after which the car was discontinued due to low demand. After that, the truck was brought back into service, which happened in 1999. And in its second term, it managed to hold on more or less – it was finally retired only in 2011.

From the usual three-door, the Tavria pickup differed only in its extended wheelbase and redesigned rear body: instead of a second row of seats, the ZAZ-110550 had a cargo area, separated from the driver's compartment by a partition and covered with a tall plastic "cap" (there were also versions with a tarp).

This particular example was produced in 2005. It is known that the Tavria was bought at one of the capital's dealerships, but due to health issues, the owner could not use it. As a result, the car spent all its 16 years in a garage.

Meanwhile, the pickup is in excellent condition: there is not a trace of rust, let alone through corrosion. The interior also looks new, and some components and assemblies even retain factory sealant.

It should be noted that the ZAZ-110550 has the following characteristics: the car's length is 3.89 m, load capacity is 400 kg, acceleration to 100 km/h is 17.4 seconds, and maximum speed is 135 km/h. The engine is a 1.2-liter gasoline unit produced by MeMZ.
