The car was discovered by vintage equipment collector Robert Green. The find literally shocked him, because only 90 Porsche 550 Spyder units were produced.

It is known that this particular car is the 69th in the series. Surprisingly, a female racer from Hawaii decided to buy the Porsche 550. Then in 1963, the car changed owner for only 2000 dollars. In the 80s, the sports car underwent restoration and was placed in storage in a container.

The Porsche 550 Spyder is equipped with a modest 1.5-liter flat-four engine producing 110 hp and a 4-speed manual transmission. But since the aluminum car weighs only 530 kg, it can reach 220 km/h.
Now the Porsche 550 Spyder is highly valued by collectors, and cars are sold for millions of dollars. The sports car became famous for loud racing victories, and it was also on this car that the legendary Hollywood actor James Dean crashed.
