The new model, named Jaguar C-Type Continuation, is an exact replica of the legendary original. To achieve maximum similarity, engineers disassembled one of the original C-Types and created three-dimensional models of all components based on scanning. Assembly will be organized in the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works workshops located in Coventry.

Under the hood of the streamlined roadster is an inline six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.4 liters, equipped with three carburetors and producing 220 horsepower. Notably, this model was the world's first car with disc brakes — this innovation ensured victories in the Le Mans race in 1951 and 1953.

The basis for the modern version was taken from the modification that participated in Le Mans. For those who want to take the roadster to the track in retro car competitions, the installation of a roll cage is provided.

The release of the C-Type Continuation is not the first such project. Earlier, Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works specialists already recreated the Jaguar E-Type Lightweight, XK SS, and D-Type. In addition, Bentley also returned its model celebrating its 90th anniversary to production.
